If you sometimes have the problem of not knowing what accessory goes with your style, we’ve compiled some fashion tips that may make that hour of getting ready-time a bit less stressful and will show how you can inject the latest fashion in to your look.
Fashion Tip – this season it is all about tone on tone – whatever you’re wearing, choose a lighter or darker shade of that colour for your accessories.
Colour
Yippee – it’s a rainbow of primary colour this summer to add some zest in to your wardrobe! Colour block your look or if you’re brave, clash your colours as much as possible!
Yellow
Add the sunshine shade in to your look through a yellow day bag or a yellow necklace or thin stacked bangles which look gorgeous with a bright white dress.
Blue
Blue is fab as it looks good on almost everyone so why not inject it through some costume jewellery, or update something which you use everyday but probably haven’t changed for a while...your purse (in any shade of blue)!
Neutrals – brown, cream and metallics
Neutrals are brilliant as they go with everything. Shades of brown, cream and the new metallics of gold, pinky gold and silver are all key. Our top tip is invest in pearly whites which looks gorgeous in an oversized clutch.
Red and Fuchsia
Scarlet is a key shade of red and is perfect in patent for a day bag. Or if you’re more of a pink girl at heart, wear fuchsia teamed with black accessories for a striking effect.
Fashion Tip - oversize everything – especially big earrings, cocktail rings and your bag (which is great for looking slimmer)!

Prints
Prints are big this season and we love the accessories that take inspiration from them like star necklaces, geometric weekend bags, floral big rings, polka dot detail and dip dye bags.
Wood
The tribal and safari themes on the catwalks is fab for summer and is brought out through wooden jewellery like beaded necklaces, dangly earrings, and chunky bangles. Team dark wooden accessories with neutral clothes for maximum wow factor.
Clear & Shine
Patent is one of this season’s materials so if you haven’t bought in to it there’s all of this season too! Clear perspex is perfect too because of its versatility so grab a clear necklace and put it in your holiday bag! It is great teamed with a cropped or halterneck waistcoat.
Nautical
Worried about looking a little like a sailor but still love the trend? Why not recognise it through anchor necklaces, stripy earrings and cream totes.
Fashion Tip - stack bangles on one of your arms or have a chunky bangle on each wrist.
