Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions

By making a request to purchase goods you are offering to buy the goods that we will accept to sell you based on the following terms and conditions.

1. Definitions and Interpretation

LMT retail trades as meandmyaccessories providing products subject to our terms and conditions. These terms and conditions will take precedence.

2. Price

The prices shown are clearly stated on the detailed product description page. All prices are shown in British Sterling. Purchases are subject to availability.

3. Ordering Goods Online

The customer is responsible for ensuring all information provided is accurate including providing correct payment and delivery details which are as per the customer’s bank records. If the billing address entered does not correspond with the customer’s bank records, a delay in delivery may occur.

4. Privacy

The Data Protection Act controls what companies can do with information that is provided to them. We will not disclose your information to third parties (excluding the payment service provider/delivery company used by the company). Please see our Privacy Policy for detailed information.

5. Payment

Payment is made through Paypal, a secure payment service provider. Payment for goods (including postage and packaging) must be received in full before the goods are dispatched. For more information please see the Post & Pack Room page.

6. Delivery

Delivery will be made as per the delivery option chosen by the customer. The customer will be informed if any item is not available at the point of payment. We cannot be held responsible for losses or delays in deliveries by our suppliers or us. All deliveries will be made via recorded delivery that requires a signature. Prices for delivery may change. On delivery of the goods the customer is then responsible for any damage to the goods. Under the Distance Selling regulations, good should always be delivered within 30 days of ordering, unless agreed otherwise.

The customer is required to provide prompt notice if the goods arrive in a damaged state. The returns policy is for goods to be received by LMT Retail within 14 days from the customer receiving the goods and compliant with the policy detailed on the ‘Post & Pack Room’ page. No refund will be provided for the original postage & packing charge paid to deliver to the customer. The cost of posting and packing the returned item will be borne by the customer if the goods are unsuitable. If the goods are faulty, the cost of returning the product will be refunded to the customer with the product price paid if it is judged by LMT Retail that the product is a manufacturing fault. All goods being returned are the risk of the customer until signed for by a representative of LMT Retail. This is why returning goods via recorded delivery is recommended to the customer. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

7. Cancellation

The customer has the right to cancel an order within seven working days from the date he/she receives the goods (cooling off period). The cooling off period begins as soon as the order has been made. In the case of goods, it ends seven working days after the day of receipt of the goods. Where consumers notify the supplier in writing or another durable medium that they wish to cancel the contract, they must be refunded within 30 days all money paid.

Under the distance selling regulations, goods that have been personalised for the customer or which have been made to the customer's specification are excluded from the cancellation provisions.

8. Risk and Ownership

Once the goods are delivered to the customer, the customer becomes responsible for loss or damage. The risk is passed to the customer if there is an arrangement whereby the customer agrees to collect the goods but fails to do so within a specified period.

LMT Retail retains ownership until all payments have been received – this gives the company the right to recover the goods if they are delivered before full payment has been received.

9. Warranties and liability

LMT Retail will sell goods matching the description provided and be reasonably fit for the purposes for which they are required etc.

If within 30 days of purchase, any defect in the good appears, LMT Retail will repair or replace those goods.

10. Notices

If LMT Retail needs to provide the customer with any notice, it will be via email unless the customer states an alternative method e.g. by fax or post.

11. General

LMT Retail’s terms and conditions may change at any time so it is recommended to check them regularly before you purchase.

12. Intellectual Property & Copyright

Where goods that are sold are subject to Intellectual Property rights, sale of the goods does not give unlimited freedom to the purchaser.
